Brian Elstak is a visual artist, illustrator, children's book writer and connector between various creative and storytellers. Brian is a master of all arts and proud winner of the Silver Brush. His visual style refers to pop culture and socially relevant issues, in a visual language that is very recognizable to young people. Brian believes it is important that children can recognize themselves in stories and illustrations. That children of color see that they are not symbolic supporting characters in the lives of white protagonists, but can also be fully-fledged three-dimensionally developed superheroes. Brian wants to appeal to people with his art and make them think in order to increase social awareness.
