Munganyende Hélène Christelle (1993) is a writer and political scientist. She grew up in Kigali, Rwanda and Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She currently lives in Amsterdam, where she is working on her debut novel for publisher Pluim.
Munganyende writes about feminism and the political emancipation of millennials with a migration background for Vogue, Vileine and OneWorld, among others. She is a politically committed writer who believes she can bring about change with her writing. In her observations she does not shy away from sharing her own experiences. Munganyende participated in the Slow Writing Lab through the Dutch Foundation for Literature.
