Uitgeverij Wilde Haren is always open to new and inspiring works! Are you an author or illustrator and would you like to submit your manuscript to us? We offer the expertise and support you need to take your work to the next level. Whether you are an illustrator looking for the perfect text, or an author who needs help finding the right illustrations – we are here for you.

Guidelines for Submitting Your Manuscript

To submit your manuscript to us, follow these steps:

1. Send the full text to us by email at manuscript at uitgeverijwildeharen nl
2. If applicable , please also attach the illustrations. We would like to receive these in one file with the text.
3. Cover Letter : Include a letter introducing yourself, briefly summarizing your book, and indicating what age group it is appropriate for.

Important Information about Illustrations

• Illustrations may be provided with a watermark.
• Retention of your own illustrations is possible, provided that they fit our vision. We will contact you about this if we decide to publish your manuscript.

What to Expect

• Response period : We will let you know within 4 months of receiving your manuscript whether your story fits within our fund.
• Please note : If you are rejected, you will not receive any further correspondence.

At Uitgeverij Wilde Haren we strive for representation of real people and real children in our stories. That is why we do not accept animal stories. We want stories that reflect reality and contribute to a diverse and authentic view of the world.
